Sauvignon Blanc 2022 750ml

The grapes for the Odyssey Sauvignon Blanc are sourced  from the Odyssey organic vineyard which is one of the most elevated sites in Marlborough and situated in the acclaimed Southern Valleys. Permeable silt loam over clay gives rise to complex whites with an underlying flinty minerality denoting the terroir from which it is grown. The Sauvignon Blanc block comprises of two clones on two different rootstocks. A small crop and long growing season in 2019 led to quite intense aromatics and ripe fruit flavours in this Sauvignon Blanc and retained its naturally pleasant acidity. Meticulous canopy management all done by hand has resulted in fruit in good condition being delivered to the winery. Harvested 28th March, 2019

 Vibrant passion fruit and gooseberry flavours, along with a luscious palate and defining flinty finish, create this fresh and concentrated wine which exhibits great depth and intensity of fruit flavours. A very non herbaceous style, this is a stylish example of a single vineyard Brancott Valley wine.
