Pot De Fleur Pinot Noir 2020 750ml
100% whole-bunch, as natural as it gets
The Pot de Fleur is so named for the small flower pot shaped fermenters we use. Building on this we work with self-taught NZ artist Margarita Vovna who designed this unique label - the textured background is a reproduction of the paper which Margarita creates from up-cycling Guadalupe County ranchers flannel.
Unfined, unfiltered, organic goodness in a bottle. The Pot de Fleur Pinot Noir is our 100% whole-bunch natural wine, made without any preservatives or additives.
The vineyard is managed using a small team, who prune, weed and train the vines each season by hand, allowing for a tailored approach to each vine and each parcel. The Pot de Fleur comes from a plot of clone 115 vines on the home vineyard, where the soils are a sandy and schist based. The wine undergoes wild, indigenous yeast ferment, with a light, daily punchdown during peak ferment.
"A beautiful wine that evokes an impression of a silk scarf floating on a breeze. Transparent and pure with fine floral characters. It is 100% whole bunch, there's no additives and no added SO2 making this about as natural as winemaking gets." - Rebecca Gibb, MW -
