Cuvée43 Syrah 2021 750ml

Our Reserve Syrah, selected from the best barrels maturing from wine made from our home vineyard in North Canterbury. Hand harvested, fermented with natural yeasts in small open top fermenters. Approximately 10% of the ferment is foot crushed prior to the remainder being destemmed and added on top. 30 days cuvaison afterwhich the free run and press portions of the wine are kept separately in French oak (20% new) for a total of 23 months. Natural malolactic ferment and no racking prior to blending. No fining but coarse filtration done prior to bottling.
