Noble Semillon 2021 375ml

WINEMAKING NOTES

The Sémillon grapes for this wine were grown on the upper terrace of Askerne Vineyard. The fruit was hand harvested with bunches selected for a heavy botrytis infection. It was then pressed, settled and racked to barrel for fermentation.  The wine was aged for 18 months in barrel prior to blending and bottling. The final blend has a 60% second fill oak component.

TASTING NOTES

Perfumed aromatics with sweet honeysuckle, dried apricots, mandarin zest, and ripe golden queen peach. Unctuous and energetic with concentrated ripe stone fruit and tropical flavours. The palate has delightful freshness and vibrancy which gives wonderful length.
