Askerne Estate
Reserve Gewürztraminer 2025 750ml
WINEMAKING NOTES
The 2025 Reserve Gewürztraminer is made from 100% clone 456. A low yielding crop of delicious fruit was harvested in late March 2025. With minimal skin contact the juice was pressed off to tank and held on juice lees for an extended period before being racked. The juice was cool fermented in stainless steel with a combination of different yeasts to get the best out of the Gewürztraminer aromatics. Ferment was stopped once optimal balance had been achieved, leaving the wine with medium dry sweetness. Post ferment the wine was aged on lees for 4 months before finishing.

TASTING NOTES
Perfumed aromatics of lychee, nashi pear, honeysuckle and tropical fruits, layered with rose petal florals, fresh ginger spice, and a hint of Turkish delight. The concentrated palate is luscious and mouth filling, with rich spiced flavours, balanced acidity, and off dry sweetness. Textured and complex through to the finish.
