Innovation is at the core of our winemaking philosophy and we’ve pioneered the manufacture in N.Z. of concrete egg-shaped fermenters. The design was based on the classic shape of a hen’s egg, with the upper portion tapering, according to the Golden Ratio - a Fibonacci sequence equation. Eggs create internal vortex motion post ferment that keep yeast in suspension, enhancing yeast derived richness and textural flow in these unique wines. Purity, texture, precision.
