GRAND RESERVE CENTRAL OTAGO PINOT NOIR 2023
2023 was a very warm year in Central Otago, producing exceptional wines with textural ripeness, retaining very good fragrance.
This is a wine balancing elegance and finesse with undeniable presence. Beautifully fragrant and built around a core of black cherry and berry fruit, it is overlaid with lifted floral and spice notes with a complexity of savoury herb and mushroom.
The oak is subtle at 25% new, supporting the wine without dominating the fruit. The wine is medium bodied with a fine line of acidity and firm youthful tannins driving good textural length.
