dense rich expression of our Te Awanga grown Merlot aromas of plum & a dark fruits finish a plush round palate of finely grained tannins.
Predominantly Merlot, with the balance from Cabernet Sauvignon & Malbec | all parcels separately fermented in open top fermenters with daily hand plunging & managed aeration | post ferment maceration was varied to optimise tannin extraction before pressing & barrel maturation for 10 months.
