The Syrah fruit comes from our Cornerstone vineyard. This exceptional vineyard on Hawke’s Bays’ Gimblett Gravels is renowned for Syrah.
WINEMAKERS COMMENTS:
Pale salmon pink in colour, our rosé displays enticing aromas of red berries and citrus blossom, complemented by delicate hints of almond and rose petals. The palate is dry, creamy and textured, revealing vibrant flavours of watermelon and pink grapefruit, balanced by bright acidity and subtle mineral notes.
WINEMAKING:
82% Racked to tank for a cool fermentation. 18% transferred to seasoned French barriques for barrel fermentation at 22 deg C. Blended post ferment and aged on light lees for 3 months
