Iris Pinot Gris 2026 750ml
WINEMAKER'S COMMENTS:
Lifted aromas of ripe pear, nashi and red apple skin are complemented by hints of ginger and spice. Flavours of nectarine and citrus are balanced by refreshing acidity, while gentle floral notes and a touch of minerality add complexity. Medium-bodied and off dry with a silky texture and long, persistent finish.
VINEYARD: Te Hau, Matapiro
Located in one of the coldest sub-regions in Hawke’s Bay, Te Hau is an elevated and inland vineyard that experiences long, warm days and cool nights. Vines lie on soils made up of a thin layer of windblown loess that cover old, coarse red gravels combined with layers of volcanic silt
