Our STONE vineyard is composed of gravel and silt layers originally formed after a great flood of the Ngaruroro river in 1867. The river stones absorbs and radiate heat on the vines to create concentrated, structured, bold, age-worthy wines.

A classic Bordeaux style blend grown on free draining soils in our STONE vineyard. Packed with ripe blackberry and plum fruit, dark chocolate and spice notes.

Technical information: 44% Merlot, 28% Malbec, 24% Cab Franc, 4% Cab Sauvignon, handpicked Natural primary fermentation 22 months aged in French barrel, 32% new 380 cases produced
