Deep, saturated ruby with purple hues. The bouquet is expressive and layered, offering ripe blackberry, plum and black cherry intertwined with violets, cocoa, sweet spice, and subtle hints of graphite and toasted oak. On the palate, concentrated dark fruits - blackcurrant, mulberry, and damson - are balanced by fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity with undertones of mocha, clove, and a smoky mineral character, adding depth and structure. The mid-palate is plush yet poised, showing impressive fruit purity before a long, persistent finish of dark chocolate, spice, and a savoury, stony edge.

This wine is a natural partner for slow-braised lamb shoulder, beef short ribs, or a classic roast with all the trimmings. Its structure and depth also make it an excellent match for aged hard cheeses, wild mushroom dishes, and richly spiced stews.
