Among the three varieties grown on the estate, Malbec stands out. As a low-yielding grape variety in Marlborough. The production of Malbec produces approximately 1300-1500 bottles annually, making it a highly sought-after and special variety.
Aromas and Nose- Lifted Aromas of ripe black plum , blueberry compote . Hints of Vanilla, cracked black pepper and oak adds complexity . A gentle touch of dried herbs coming from Marlborough’s cool climate.
Tasting notes- A Classic Malbec ,full body with bright acidity and subtle tannins. It delivers a Very dark boysenberry , mulberry and dark cocoa characteristics with undertones of cinnamon , clove and gentle smokiness from the oak
