Lawson's Dry Hills
Reserve Chardonnay 2023 750ml

A single vineyard Chardonnay from our own coastal vineyard within Marlborough's Wairau Valley.

Made from twenty five year old Mendoza vines (88%) and for the first time 12% of a newer clone (548).

Hand-harvested and whole-bunch pressed before being racked to French oak barrels (22% new)

The juice was fermented with wild yeasts and allowed to undergo full malolactic fermentation, matured in the French oak for ten months.

The palate has intense citrus flavours with a complex array of other characters including spice and vanills from the French oak, this is a rich, full flavoured wine, beautifully balanced by fresh acidity.
