Lawson's Dry Hills
Reserve Chardonnay 2024 750ml
A single vineyard Chardonnay from our own coastal vineyard within Marlborough's Wairau Valley.
This wine was crafted from a single pick of twenty five year old Mendoza vines.
Hand-harvested and whole-bunch pressed before being racked to French oak barrels (21% new)
The juice was fermented with wild yeasts and allowed to undergo full malolactic fermentation and matured in the French oak for ten months.
The palate has vibrant lemon flavours, alongside notes of cashew, spice with a touch of vanilla from the French oak, this is a rich, Richly textured this wine has impressive energy and balance, qualities that reflect the character of this special vineyard site.
