Chardonnay 2024 750ml

A fresh, medium to full-bodied wine.  The palate is lovely and rounded, with a youthful bouquet of citrus and yellow stone fruits, cashew nuts and well-integrated oak.  The grapes were sourced from two sites, Pauls Road and Balvonie, both in the Wairau Valley sub-region of Marlborough.  Fruit was hand-picked and whole bunch pressed, and the wine was aged for 10 months in French oak puncheons (22% new).

Food match: A perfect match for Mediterranean cuisine, all types of seafood, chicken, pork and creamy mushroom pastas.

Cellaring:  We recommend enjoying our 2024 Chardonnay in the first 4 - 6 years after the vintage date.  However, the wine has the structure and closure to allow continued development with careful cellaring.
