Sauvignon Blanc 2023 750ml
Sauvignon Blanc is ideally suited to the Nelson region where a combination of warm, sunny days and cool autumn nights, help to create the intense varietal flavours for which this flagship New Zealand wine is recognized.
Tasting: Intense floral, gooseberry, elderflower notes with fresh herbs (mint/basil). Rich, fleshy front palate with ripe passionfruit, guava, feijoa fruit with complex herb flavours and a crisp fresh finish. A vibrant, full-flavoured wine that is concentated and long.
Wine Making: All fruit was crushed and demented before being cool fermented to preserve the vibrant, fresh Sauvignon characters.
Certified Organic: BioGro.
Diet: Suitable for a vegan diet.
Analysis: Alcohol 13.0%, Residual Sugar 4.0 g/L, Acidity 7.6 g/L
Wonderfully fruited and inviting, the wine shows green rockmelon, apricot, lemon peel and sweet basil notes on the nose, followed by a delightfully flavoursome palate delivering terrific fruit power and persistency.
