Pinot Gris 2024 750ml

Te Mānia Pinot Gris is a soft, subtle, fruity and elegant wine.  This approachability makes it an excellent match for many different foods and cooking styles from spicy Asian dishes to grilled seafood.

Tasting:  Fragrant floral honeysuckle aromas mixed with peach, fig and nashi pear notes. Delicious citrus, rock melon and pear with apple flavours  A smooth, silky, textural wine with fine tannins and intensity.

Winemaking:   Beautifully ripe fruit was whole bunch pressed. The tiny berries produced wonderful concentrated fruit flavours which were preserved by fermenting the wine at cool temperatures.  A portion was fermented with wild yeast and all the lees were stirred for 5 months to add complexity and texture.

Diet: This wine is suitable for a vegan diet.

Analysis: Alcohol 13%, Acidity 7.8 g/L, Residual Sugar 5.7 g/L

Elegant and inviting, the wine shows white flesh stone fruit, ripe pear and white floral aromas, followed by a juicy palate offering pristine fruit flavours backed by fine texture and zesty acidity.
