Discover this classic expression of Central Otago Pinot Noir. The Folding Hill Orchard Block Pinot Noir 2020 embodies the unique terroir of the renowned Bendigo subregion Central Otago. Carefully selected from our small Orchard block this wine offers a deep layered drinking experience. An initial nose of dried fruity berries followed by luxurious dark fruit aromas. Secondary spiced, toasted biscuit aromas betray the longer 18-months this wine spent in barrel. Velvety soft palate with a gripping but well-balanced tannic mouthfeel. Darker plummy flavours come to the forefront with a hint of berry fruit and gentle oaky spice. Well rounded, balanced and absolutely delicious. The longer, careful vinification process is expressed in the simple elegance of this wine. Drinking well now but will cellar well for at least a decade.
