Inspired by our CFW (compulsory family walks) in the Tararua Ranges - the steep, tricky, hauntingly beautiful mountains that run the length of Wairarapa. This is a wine full of the tastes and smells of the forest.
Five grape varieties make up this delicious blend - a veritable salad of forest fruits!
Full of plump dark berry fruit juiciness. Just a little skin contact to create texture and weight, balanced with a fresh and silky palate - all the elements we think make a really nice chilled red.
Blackberry, brambly, fresh, supple.
