An excellent example, ageing well and still with a taut youthful frame, scents and complexity.  Aromas and flavours of dark cherry and black currant, cedar and earth-smoke and silty stone and dried herb, clay and tea.  A dry wine with polished gently chalky textured tannins, medium+ acid line and lengthy finish.  Still developing with a decent concentration and length.  Well made with best drinking from day of purchase through 2033.

A lifted, ethereal bouquet meets the nose with concentration, amalgamated flavours harmonised on the palate, unfolding dried floral and spice development.  A very engaging and enticing Pinot Noir.

The flavours are fantastic, as a result of that concentration of flavour.  This wine is five years young and will evolve in a steady and delicious journey of savoury, earthy notes that are the hallmark of Martinborough Pinot Noir.  It can be confidently cellared for nine to 10 years + because previous aged wines from this vineyard start hitting their real stride at anything from five to 10 years old - and then some.
