Home Block Pinot Noir 2012 750ml

Hand-picked from our oldest blocks of Pinot on the Martinborough Terrace the age of these vines is now beginning to show a real sense of ‘terroir’. This is most evident on the palate where the older vines have produced a wine showing great complexity and depth that will see this wine age gracefully for at least ten years. The cooler 2012 season has produced a Pinot Noir with vibrant red cherries and lovely floral notes. The attractive aromas belie a palate showing spicy oak richness balanced against fresh red fruit purity and freshness with earthy undertones. The result is a lovely balanced Pinot with beguiling length and complexity.
