Welcome to Bell Hill Vineyard

Established by Marcel Giesen and Sherwyn Veldhuizen at an old lime quarry in the Weka Pass, North Canterbury, NZ, Bell Hill vineyard is a long-term project driven by a desire to realise the full potential of this unique, lime-rich environment. Bell Hill vineyard is modelled on the high density plantings of vineyards in Burgundy, France.

While not open to the public, when possible visits may be arranged by appointment only, please contact us for all enquiries and directions to the vineyard.

Bell Hill Vineyard’s distribution philosophy is based upon the development of a loyal mail-order customer base in New Zealand and overseas, and select on-premise/restaurant accounts.
