Pinot Noir growing at the top two blocks of the our Damsteep vineyard during a wonderful vintage.
The fruit was hand picked from 25 year old vines at home in 2 ha of clay overlying fractured limestone and sandstone soils.
Silken and bright raspberries, wild forest fruits and graphite.
Supple and elastic mid pallet tannins that are contained with bright and pure minerality –energy and invigorating tension!
Un-fined and unfiltered wine.
Decanting will allow maximum expression of aroma and purity of fruit. Drink now to 2038.
