Back slapping good best describes the 2023 Hillside Syrah. Intensely dark in colour, it shouts plum, pepper, liquorice, toast and spice. There is a vibrance and an intensity in the wine which ensures it will age for many years. The 2023 is a unique vintage which has been aged in new French oak and it belongs in all serious cellars.
