Puma Pinot Gris 2024 750ml
Grown organically at Manuteke, Gisborne Puma is inspired by the Pinot Grigio styles of Northern Italy this is a french, acid-driven wine with tons of green pear and hints of soft baking spice.
"Crafted from organic grapes grown in the Manutuke subregion of Gisborne, this pinot griz has rizz (as the kids would say). Roaring with musky, baked apple and nashi notes on the nose and palate, it’s a wine carrying classic Gisborne gris complexity, dryness and generosity. Spice-stacked and showing a touch of creaminess on the finish. Nicely done." - 4 Stars Yvonne Lorkin
"Varietal and lifted bouquet with a core of ripe pear and flinty wild ferment qualities, there’s lees and some fruit spice along with a [Kirin] lager beer idea. Crisp and just dry on the palate with a core of white fleshed fruits, medium acid line and flinty lifted qualities that mirror the bouquet. Balanced and ready to drink from late 2024 through 2026." 90 Points - Cameron Douglas MS
