Lime Rock
White Knuckle Hill Pinot Noir 2013 750ml
Has a unique feel to the wine; rich cherry and berry scents, touch of mocha, some truffle and earth, dried fruits.
The wine sits chalky in texture in the palate, almost furry, but pleasing in its spread of tannin and perky in acidity to keep the wine lively.
Mouth-filling, it swamps the palate in its savoury flow. Finishes tingly with, imaginary or not, limestone-like mineral feel. It’s got something.
