Reserve Grüner Veltliner 2026 750ml

Grüner Veltliner (grew-ner-felt-lee-ner) is relatively new to New Zealand, and we planted a small amount of this variety in our Angler vineyard in 2013 as an experimental block.   It is an approachable and fruit-forward wine that captures a spicy and slightly peppery flavour while building depth and complexity into the mid palate through skin contact. It pairs particularly well with spicy Asian dishes.

A beguiling nose of ripe stone fruits combined with layers of citrus and exotic spice. The palate is plush and textural, with fine mineral acidity providing focus and length resulting in a wine of great texture and poise.
