Seifried Estate
Seifried Nelson Pinot Gris 2026 750ml

Our family first planted vines in Nelson in 1973, beginning a rewarding journey of crafting exceptional wine. Over 50 years later, we proudly remain a family estate winery. A classically aromatic wine with bright and inviting aromas lifting from the glass. The off-dry palate is mouth-filling and expressive, with citrus, almond meal and nashi pear characters wrapped around warm, subtle spice. A trusty dinner table companion for our family and now yours.

93 Points (5 Stars) | Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, August 2026 | _{"Delightfully fruity and elegantly expressive, the bouquet features Gala apple, lemon peel, Nashi pear, and white-flower nuances, followed by a finely flowing palate thats beautifully rounded and lingering"}

90 Points | Cameron Douglas MS, September 2026 |_{"A very fruity, varietal wine with core aromas and flavours of fresh pomaceous fruits from green and red pears to apple and a lick of citrus. An off-dry expression with a satin cream mouthfeel, juicy fruit flavours enhanced by the residual sweetness and contrasted by the acid line."}

Silver (90 Points) | The New Zealand International Wine Show 2026

"The wine in the glass has the faintest almond hue edge - subtle colouration from the Pinot Gris grape skin colour. The nose is both floral and tropical with hints of pear drops and fig coming thorugh. The finish is off-dry and leaves a long luscious finish on the wine."

Heidi Seifried-Houghton, Winemaker.
