The 2022 vintage in Central Otago will be remembered fondly for years to come.  Perfect early season conditions, with above average warmth and evenly spaced rain events meant spring growth was rapid but even.  The resulting wines are fruit forward, vibrant and charming.  

The fruit for our Ayrburn Rose comes from the Gibbston Valley subregion of Central Otago, renowned for producing elegant and vibrant Pinot Noir due to its cooler microclimate.  Complex soils of glacial schist and loam are perfect for growing high-quality, expressive Pinot Noir.  A variety of clones ensures our Pinot Noir Rose presents a complex array of aromas and flavour.
