Fragrant red fruits and delicate florals meld with classic strawberries and cream in our attractive Pinot Noir rosé, grown in the cool, fresh climes of the picturesque Gibbston subregion. Pretty aromatics of wild strawberry, raspberry and rose petal lead into a luscious, fruit-driven palate, beautifully balanced by bright acidity and a refreshing mineral thread. The fruit for our Ayrburn Rosé is from a single vineyard in Central Otago’s Gibbston Valley. This subregion is renowned for producing very elegant and vibrant Pinot Noir due to its cooler microclimate. Perched high in the valley at altitudes of 420m above sea level, this vineyard is quickly becoming one of the most prestigious in the region. The complex schist and glacial loess soil profile delivers elegant and mineral edged fruit that is perfectly suited to this style of rosé.
