Zippy and tight with bright acidity

One of the lesser known cousins of the Pinot family, Pinot Blanc - a variety in it's own right - has a white skin, and hails from France and Italy. At Carrick we have a small parcel of 0.4ha which was planted in 2015.

A perfect match for a summer quiche, with feta, pumpkin and fennel. 

Our Pinot Blanc is hand-picked then brought to the winery where we crush the fruit to extract flavour from the skin, before it's pressed. Entirely wild fermented in barrel, it spends 8 months in oak (25% new oak).
