High Garden Vineyard

High Garden is the highest Vineyard in Gibbston. During the critical ripening month of April it enjoys on average 90 minutes of additional sunshine in comparison to the vineyards along the valley floor. At 25 hectolitres per hectare average yields are similar to that of the Grand Cru "Romanee Conti" vineyard in Burgundy. The wine comes from the heart of the vineyard, is made in extremely limited volumes and reflects the "absolutely no expense spared" approach to vineyard management. The vineyard is managed utilising both organic and biodynamic practices and no herbicides or pesticides are used.
