La Ferme de Sato Sur Les Nuages Pinot Noir 2023 750ml

This wine represents the whole picture of Pinot Noir grapes in our home vineyard in Pisa Region, with the different parcels across top terrace, slope and the bottom, with 5 clones. The name Sur Les Nuages (meaning "above the clouds" or "beyond the clouds") pictures the vineyard landscape during winter time, when the thick layer of the fog covers the Cromwell basin above the lake in the morning and we see the sun light above the cloud up in our vineyard, on the hill.  This wine expresses the purity of the fruits grown in the soil with schist and quartz, as well as the depth and complexity from the seasons and through the ageing in French oak barrels.
