Gamay from our tiny block produces a small amount of wine every year. The canopy is always small but stays green. The fruits at harvest retain good acidity and uplifting charming red fruit aroma and some tightness from the soil and climate.

We can find many Alyssum flowers in our vineyard. Initially, we found them nicely grown naturally a few years ago but, since it looks so preciously cute with its sweet nose, we decided to seed them to attract beneficial insects. The Alyssum flower means “worth beyond beauty”, “excellence beyond beauty”, “sweetness of soul”, “innocence” or “exemplary modesty”. These words describe exactly what we seek in Gamay wines.
