Reserve Viognier 2021 750ml

Aromatic and expressive, this Viognier opens with lifted florals, citrus zest, and fresh apricot. A La Niña-influenced growing season brought increased wind, resulting in thicker grape skins and impressive concentration, while extended ripening pushed alcohol levels higher. To bring balance and structure, a higher proportion of new French oak was incorporated, lending both texture and a luminous golden hue.

The palate is dry and powerful, sitting just shy of 15.5% alcohol, yet carried by vibrant fruit intensity and spice. Layers of ripe stone fruit unfold alongside savoury notes of salted cashew and walnut, adding complexity and depth.

The finish is long and persistent, with lingering hints of menthol and fennel.

Approachable now, this wine will reward careful cellaring and continue to evolve through to 2035.
