This vintage brings together our original Marsanne vineyard—the tightly packed, "postage stamp" block—with the vineyard that surrounds our cellar door.

Roussanne and Marsanne share a similar character, but with very different attitudes. Roussanne is quirky and energetic in its youth, expressing exotic spice and fruit characters reminiscent of Gewürztraminer, while Marsanne rewards patience.

The Marsanne contributes a subtle salty chamomile note, a reflection of the vineyard site, supported by plenty of crisp, juicy acidity. This bone-dry style is also slightly lower in alcohol, making it a comfortable addition to the dinner table, especially when a little chilli is involved.

The result is a wine that balances youthful vibrancy with depth and restraint, offering both immediate appeal and the potential to evolve beautifully over time.
