Animus Blanc Chardonnay 2025 750ml

Chardonnay can be such a gentle friend, the latest edition of this wine stems from a neighbourly partnership with a couple of lovely friends. There's a hectare of mature vine Chardonnay tucked down the back and around the corner from homeblock it flows down from the upper terrace to the second.

I help out by spraying the vines and conceiving of the organic program to protect and nuture them. In return I ask for juice, just enough to fill a barrel or two.

This is the result of that exchange, juice run to barrel left to wild ferment then transferred to stainless tank to condition and bottled in mid summer. No need to rush when life serves you chardonnay - just relax and enjoy - Cheers!
