Fermented wild in fine French Oak with little intervention. Harnessing the intensity, flavour and finesse of Wairarapa Chardonnay. A perfect match for any stable. Production of 2286 bottles.

Ripe, pure fruited, flinty and mineral, aromas of fresh yellow and white peach then grapefruit peel and baking spices. A touch of wood smoke, nut and vanilla round out the bouquet. A dry wine touches the palate with a seam of barrel spice and lees then flint and peach. Plenty of weight and satin texture then red apple and citrus. The seam of peach scents from the boquuet evolve into flavours across the palate. Acidity and fine tannins add mouthfeel and robustness. Well made and ready for drinking from late 2025 through 2032+.
