Impeccably composed and perfectly poised, the wine reveals nuances of sweet cherry, wild strawberry, violet, game, and toasted almond with a seductive spicy undertone. The palate exhibits outstanding concentration, brilliant focus, and a flowing mouthfeel. It’s expansive and mouth-filling with mouth-coating textures, fine acidity, and beautifully woven tannins, leading to a prolonged, captivating finish. A stunning Pinot that will gracefully evolve to a sublime beauty.

Complex, earthy nose with deep notes of mushroom, olive and licorice root slowly lifting to reveal the compact core of raspberry, blackberry and cherry cola. The powerful, medium-bodied palate is packed with intense fruit concentration and fantastic length, its flavours reprising across the seemingly endless finish as it alternates between root spice, fruit pastille and violets. Despite its youthful austerity, there is no hiding the sheer power. Give it a few years in bottle to gain more complexity and enjoy over the coming decade.

The combination of our winery block Pommard clone and a chosen French cooperage—which produces super fine-grained, larger format barrels (350L) for a euphoric aging process—is a match made in heaven.
