The wine combines stunning fruit purity with elegant complexity, showing Black Doris plum,

blueberry, warm spice, and discreet oak characters on the nose. The richly expressed palate

delivers terrific weight and rounded mouthfeel, complemented by fleshy texture and beautifully

melded tannins. It is sumptuous and delicious with a sustained, structured finish. A pure joy in a

glass. At its best: 2027 to 2038.

After several vintages working with Tempranillo in Martinborough, we continue to be fascinated by what this variety can achieve here.

It has an incredible ability to combine depth, elegance and character while still reflecting the season and place in which it is grown.

The 2025 release feels especially significant, with the variety seemingly finding its stride in our corner of Martinborough. The result is a wine that embodies the style and quality we have been working towards for many years — one with balance, structure and a true sense of place.

Elegant and finely textured, it carries impressive depth and length.
