Blank Canvas, launched in 2013, is the vinous studio of award-winning international winemaking consultant Matt Thomson and Master of Wine Sophie Parker-Thomson.

We are a husband and wife team with over 45 years of collective global experience and knowledge. We produce distinctive, small-batch fine wines from exceptional single vineyard sites in Marlborough, Central Otago and Hawkes Bay. Being small batch in nature, the volumes are always limited and are tightly allocated.

We use our decades of knowledge and experience and leverage our growers generational understanding to create special, single vineyard wines that are a true reflection of their time and place.
