Welcome to Kina Cliffs
Kina Cliffs is an 8-acre family owned boutique vineyard that overlooks Tasman Bay and is near the towering cliffs of the Kina Peninsula, 30 minutes’ drive from Nelson. These sea-washed cliffs expose the ancient Moutere clay gravels that also lie beneath the vineyard and are known locally to produce a full-bodied, robust grape flavour. This soil, the breezy coastal climate, the high sunshine hours, the hand-tended low yield vines and the expertise of dedicated local winemakers are all engaged to produce exceptional wines.
Kina Cliffs is an accredited Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand vineyard and produces Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Rosé and Pinot Noir.

"A Rising Star in Nelson..." - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
"This is the wine that has put Kina Cliffs on the world radar, by scoring five stars, 93 points and being among Gourmet Traveller Wine's Top 100 New Releases"
"5 Stars. A heaving total of just 4ha planted in grapes makes Kina Cliffs one of the smallest vineyards in the region, but this cracker sauvignon proves great things can come from the tiniest packages." - Yvonne Lorkin
