Welcome to Kina Cliffs

Kina Cliffs is an 8-acre family owned boutique vineyard that overlooks Tasman Bay and is near the towering cliffs of the Kina Peninsula, 30 minutes’ drive from Nelson. These sea-washed cliffs expose the ancient Moutere clay gravels that also lie beneath the vineyard and are known locally to produce a full-bodied, robust grape flavour. This soil, the breezy coastal climate, the high sunshine hours, the hand-tended low yield vines and the expertise of dedicated local winemakers are all engaged to produce exceptional wines.

Kina Cliffs is an accredited Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand vineyard and produces Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Rosé and Pinot Noir.

Our Cellar Door is open from the 1st of November until Easter for the following hours.

• From Christmas, until end of February, Tuesday - Sunday, 12pm - 5pm
• March - until Easter, Thursday - Saturday, 12pm - 5pm
