The wine opens with of lychee, pear, mandarin, sweet lemon, ginger, mustard seed and rosewater.

On the palate the lychee continues, as well as apple, pear, honeydew melon and fresh fig, with a note of white pepper.

The cooler year is reflected in a bright acid line through the wine, which balances the residual sugar to give a generous wine that manages to finish clean and poised.
