Waitaki Valley characterised by gorgeous valleys formed by braided rivers and glacial lakes, known for its limestone rich soils and long dry summers coupled with a semi-maritime climate it is one of the coolest places in New Zealand to grow grapes. It is perfect for making taut, edgy and powerful wines.
Committed to sustainable farming practices, hand cropping, with winemaking honouring traditional techniques results in fine wines with pronounced concentration.
Jules Matthews and Jules Stephan launched Q WINE with the 2010 vintage of Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris immediately finding favour with discerning wine drinkers.
